I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And I need YOUR support.

Did you know? Every minute of every day, a child is admitted into hospital. In May 2024 this was the case for our sweet James . 

James became very sick with pneumonia and was admitted into the John Hunter Hospital. He had a rough time and the experience there took a big toll on him. Thankfully for James his little body responded well to treatment  and was only there for just under a week. But for so many sick children their stay is for so much longer and with so much more heartache and uncertainty  

Our James was scared every time the nurse or doctor walked through the door, that was until he met the wonderful team at the children’s Starlight foundation and visited the kids room. This incredible group of men and women turned that around and made James feel so at ease. It gave him a place to play, smile and laugh. It was here that we met inspirational families and were touched by what others are facing every single day  

This May, I’m taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children.

I’ve set myself a goal to walk thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And I need your support.

When you sponsor my challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids and their families. The money you donate will help seriously ill children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.

Any amount you can spare will help brighten kids’ lives when they’re going through tough times in hospital.
