I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And I need YOUR support.

Did you know? Every minute of every day, a child is admitted to hospital in Australia.

As some of you may know our little Jarrah man has been in and out of hospital since April 2024. 

It's hard seeing your child not well. Add on the stress, financial strain and uncertain times. But one thing (besides our incredible family and friend) that helped us through was the positive impact that the Starlight Foundation had on us

They visited our room, dropped off toys to play with, provided Jarrah playdough, colouring books and sung many, many songs. 

They provide a safe space for children to just be children, interacting, playing and distracting them from the worry of what's going to happen when they return to their ward room. 

We spent many hours in that room. We will forever be grateful for the bubbles they blew, the discos they ran, throwing balls for jarrah to catch and having a dance with him when we was well enough. The genuine care and love these people have for making sick children and their families day a little brighter is phenomenal. 

This May, I’m taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children, as they did for Jarrah. 

I’ve set myself a goal to walk or run 10 thousand of steps every day, for an entire month, along with my little boys. 

If your able to help sponsor my challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids and their families. The money you donate will help these children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.

Any amount you can spare will help brighten kids’ lives when they’re going through tough times in hospital.
