Did you know? Every minute of every day, a child is admitted to hospital in Australia.

Veronica has been on the receiving end of this. Being in and out of The Royal Children’s Hospital since she was a little  girl, she was fortunate enough to have teams of doctors advocating for her, working alongside the family to diagnose and support her. The Starlight Foundation came to her hospital bed multiple times to check in on her, sing to her and take her for a walk to play in their Starlight Room. Even as an adult, she had to learn to walk again in 2019.

This May, we're taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children.

We’ve set a goal to walk or run thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And we need your support.

When you sponsor our challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids and their families. The money you donate will help seriously ill children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.
