Say hello to Eva - one of our truly inspirational 2025 Super Steppers!

Eva has a condition called Hydrocephalus which is associated with Spina Bifida, as well as a complex seizure disorder. She also has a shunt to regulate the Hydrocephalus which has given her many complications. As a result, she has had countless surgeries and admissions to hospital. Starlight has been a big part of our family during her admissions to the Emergency Department and clinics at Princess Margaret to Perth Children’s.

'We chose to step up as Eva my eldest daughter has Spina Bifida. We have been recipients of Starlight love while in the children’s hospitals in Perth, WA. Both Princess Margaret and Perth Children’s. Eva is in the planning process of being a wish recipient. This project is extra special to us. We are hoping to blow our goal out of the water and hopefully give back and help other families like us' - Sylvia (Mum)

Eva's whole family have signed up to Super Steps 2025 as the 'Inverted Pendulums', which scientifically is another word for 'walking' - according to Mum who is a Registered Nurse and loves science!
