Our Mission: Stepping Up for Starlight in Brisbane

We're building a team of amazing people in Brisbane who are coming together to join Super Steps this May! Our team of busy individuals is committing to walking a set number of steps each day from May 1st to 31st, 2025. Our purpose is clear: to raise awareness and vital funds for the incredible work of the Starlight Children's Foundation, bringing joy and normalcy to sick kids and their families.

Why We're Walking:

Like many of you, we believe that every child deserves a happy childhood. We've been touched by the stories of how Starlight makes a real difference, whether it's through granting a magical wish, providing laughter and distraction through Captain Starlight, or offering support through the Livewire program. We know that happy children recover faster, and happy families are stronger.

We've seen how Starlight shows up in both grand gestures and small acts of kindness. Sometimes it's the big events, and other times it's the small moments of laughter and connection. We believe that we can contribute in both big and small ways too.

As a team, we're not just walking for the cause; we're walking for each other. We're hoping to connect in person for some walks throughout the month, taking time to pause, reflect, and express our gratitude. This is as much about building community as it is about supporting Starlight.
